The enthusiasm of senior participants was profound as they explored the four guides produced by UNESCO Beirut on "Greening Education." These guides are addressed to teachers, principals, trainers, and youth, alongside a foundational guide for both trainers and trainees. The initiative has also equipped 30 trainers from various regions of Lebanon with comprehensive guidelines and practical teaching strategies in key areas of Greening Education.

Also, the first roundtable discussion on Greening Education was convened. The national committee responsible for shaping Lebanon's national strategy brought together representatives from relevant ministries, United Nations organizations, non-governmental organizations, and civil society. This roundtable's objective was to establish a comprehensive framework for Greening Education in Lebanon and ensure active engagement from partners, fostering a more sustainable future for all.
UNESCO's commitment to the cause underscores the belief that every educator carries the mission of making "Greening Education" a collective and paramount priority in Lebanon, facilitating a brighter and more sustainable future.

In an endeavor to strengthen the role of the Arabic language in education and in community development, the UNESCO Multisectoral Regional Office in Beirut, in partnership with the Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Foundation organized a series of six regional dialogue meetings throughout the month of October. These meetings aimed to address the importance of reinforcing the Arabic language within educational systems in the Arab world. A diverse panel of experts, educators, and language practitioners participated in these virtual meetings, sharing valuable insights, models, tools, and practical examples applicable to the educational process.
